A few words about us...
Our laboratory was founded in 1983.
Anastasios Triantafyllou, a chemical oenologist, founded the laboratory in 1983, continuing his successful career in management positions at major companies (Wines and Spirits “VOTRYS,” Ouzo 12). Over the years, the laboratory has served as a model for providing analytical and consulting services to winemakers and distillers.
Since 2011, the second generation—Vangelis Triantafyllou, an agronomist and oenologist with an M.Sc.—has been carrying on the tradition, further developing the laboratory’s operations.
Vangelis Triantafyllou
is an oenologist, graduate of the Agricultural University of Athens, with an M.Sc. from Wageningen University & Research (WUR) (Netherlands), AgroParisTech (France), Lund University (Sweden), and University College Cork (Ireland).
Wine, spirits, and their “magical” ingredients have fascinated him since he was a child. The biochemistry of fermentation and the connection between technical parameters and the sensory characteristics of the produced wines and spirits are a source of inspiration for him.
In his free time, he enjoys movies, music, free software, and bicycles.

The laboratory staff is highly qualified, with advanced degrees in oenology and/or analytical chemistry, as well as extensive experience in wine and spirits production.
